Oh, I get it, you're being sarcastic, well it's not going to run out anytime soon, there are discovered reserves that are untapped because of the cost of recovery and refinement, as fuel prices go up it will become economical to use this oil.

Gasoline and other fuels don't neccessarily have to come out of the ground....look forward to genetically modified plants that can be easily harvested and converted to fuel....the future is bright

They don't even need genetic mods, there is one already that
produces pure diesel fuel, called the Jojoba bush. It grows in the
desert.

I didn't quite believe this when I first read it, but goddamn if it aint true...

Just add a bit of methanol, and a catalyst (sodium hydroxide), and you're off..... check out New Scientist for more info...

Just need a couple of hectares of the stuff, and I can get to work and back all week.....😛

technically, all oil comes from life. Probally from millions and millions of years of foilage dieing,layering up, pocketing in the earth, then the tectonic plates bury it, then we find it!
