Don't get too complicated, she will duck and tell you to go watch TV.
Maybe you should do that, instead of making sh-- up.

I didn't write the OP, moron.
no, but you attached a meaning to it that the OP didnt mean.

@Mott-The-Hoople
That's about it for Suzianne on this thread. Which one of us gets the win?

I know there’s not.
Send them down the mines for 6 months, plant them in front of a class of teenagers for a year or get them to clean sick people in hospitals for half a year. Let them smell what real work is like.

Sitting down and telling your secretary what she should be doing is hardly work.
Sitting back and enjoying profits is hardly work.

Send them out to Ukra ...[text shortened]... months tank repair duty near the front lines. Let’s see what they think about bloody work.

Moron.
And to think I used to credit you with intelligence, even when I disagreed with your bull I thought that you had at least thought things though, but now, like, I am blown away by such incredible stupidity. This logic explains soooo much.

Well, at least you got what Shav was saying. Sometimes posts are a bit to cute, I did not get what he meant. Something about work.

Does he think that Henry Ford did not work, since he could not even handle a wrench? Didn't build anything?
Does he know that the 'work' of Henry Ford was an idea that changed the world? An assembly line. He made a fortune with just an idea. Didn't invent the car.
Keith Richards made a fortune by putting 8 notes together, creating the most famous rock song, "Satisfaction".
Oh well, it is just Shav, after all,.... it could be Sonhouse or Suziebelle.

Didn’t Ford pay extremely high wages?

He may have ,, or not,, but again, the issue is Shav being preoccupied with the application of the word work, I capitulated with the word labor, and we are off and running.
I may have missed the time-worn issue of how much a corp should pay, which, of course, is whatever the corp and the employee agree to, but I digress.

This is another case of a lib trying to change the subject of a discussion.... the issue. (a topic or problem for debate or discussion).
Wages or salary are not mentioned in this skirmish with Shav. I REALLY wish you fellers would not do that. Hell, you may have run Shav off to more important things!! Thanks a lot!

I thought that the inference was that ford paid high wages "because" Henry Ford had the "idea" of the assembly line. Without that " Non-Labour" the all-important labourer would have not had any capacity to earn "any" money.

Correct. Without an assembly line, it would maybe be a factory turning out about 2 cars a day, very little money to be made. Ford made it possible to produce ONE THOUSAND cars a day while he sat in his office. Shav has suggested a few clicks back that Henry Ford was not working. I think that even Suzianne would agree with me that he was indeed working.
Jim Mac is taking some license that he can substitute the word 'non-labour' with the word 'work. An office-type guy thus is doing non-labour. Jim is correct, of course.
This well covers your post, Jimmac, except that I do not think the issue has any thing to do with wages, high or low. Please expand now that we have distinguished between a person who labors, and a person who works.

@AverageJoe1
Yeah, darn it , I think we lost Shav. Please y'all quit changing the threads of other posters. Be respectful of a man's post.

An interesting post. Tell us who are 'you idiots' and please expand your discussion, the thread is indeed that Biden, by allowing un-vetted aliens, some with TB who would be turned around and sent home at the New York airport, to enter our country, 3.8M of them. He has in effect erased our border.
There cannot be a country if there is not border. Biden has given away our country.
So what is your take? Who are the idiots?
