No one is ever held personally responsible and prosecuted for such debacles, of which there have been many less atrocious, but very serious, examples in the UK since the Labour flagship 'The NHS' was launched 60 years ago.

This is why hospitals should never be sold.
It is the only way to have good hospitals and never nationalise them.
