This one provision if passed by the senate will complete the coup Trump started in Trump V1.
If this passes there will BE no democracy anymore. That one provision decimates the courts, Trump can give them the middle finger, 'You want Garcia back? Go get him yourself' with a middle finger salute.
There would be no more checks on Trump.
Since he owns congress now and SCOTUS tamed, he could announce himself King Trump and there would be nobody to stop him.
Then quelling protests with his military, shoot them if he wants, stop elections and keep himself in power for many years, and if he wants to retire, install say Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel, Don Jr, or Eric as successor so the dynasty would continue.
All that the result of a one sentence provision. crippling SCOTUS.
He already ignores the lower courts and is doing nothing to get Garcia back, so I expect he knows EXACTLY what is in that bill and is waiting with bated breath, slobbering at the prospect of becoming King Trump.
