@fornichessate removed their quoted postAs an aside, why do you defend posts that promote paedophilia or harm children (such as sites promoting suicide etc) or those that incite violence?
Are you cool with that?
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidYou are trying to use a few extreme cases to justify the whole.
You seem to be in a bit of a flap?
If you bring a topic to the forums you need to be better equipped at defending it.
Why are you ignoring the people being censored and jailed for saying things the govt don’t agree with?

That the fascism you fools talk about.

Meow.

The majority of people arrested for online posts relates to indecent or harmful content.
@Mott-The-Hoople
I think you chaps need to start afresh, revisit what your own country once recognised as falling outside of freedom of speech.
That right is 'not' absolute, allowing for exceptions like obscenity, true threats, and incitement to imminent lawless action.
@fornichessate removed their quoted postUK citizens live in fear. Just yesterday I met a British woman on vacation down here. Started the conversation about Muslims and immigrants and increased crime and rapes and she said its all nonsense. Her response reminded me about GhostofaDuke here who said almost exactly the same thing. She also said that she lives there in the UK and she never saw any of these problems... typical.
@Rajk999 saidPsst, start listening to people who actually live in the UK.

You might like the idea of us living in fear, but it simply isn't true. - But hey, your own country is apparently overrun with crime gangs.
Scarry....
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidI will listen to all people living in the UK, as the opinion of one is who lives in fear of an unjust law, or is brainwashed is by definition biased. From the polls which has a more representative opinion, people in general have a big problem with Muslims and uncontrolled immigration, which has led to a steep rise in crime, rapes and knifing and other illegal acts.

As usual I agree that where I live crime is rampant.
See? I truthful and honest. Try it.
@Rajk999 saidBingo with the 'typical' though.

The average Brit typically does 'not' live in fear. Unlike I'm sure your own country riddled as it is with crime gangs.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke said12,000 arrests for petty online posts, 78,000 rapes and 50,000 knife attacks in the last 10 years.
Bingo with the 'typical' though.

I rather live down here.
@Rajk999 saidWell, wallow away sir in your truthful crime wave, while I'll have a wander to buy tea and crumpets safe in the knowledge that I won't be attacked by a rampaging Muslim.
