Anybody else watch this?

It really is just as good as ‘the world at war’ from the 70’ (WW2 from begin to end).
Very, very impressive.

However, watching it reminds me of something I said whilst watching the second series of band of Brothers (the first one about the 101 airborne), the second about the conflict with Japan... I said to my (then girlfriend) wife: “How come these lessons were forgotten in Vietnam.”

Literally.

Does anyone know?

Because civic responsibility is not encouraged and the ethos of "Don't worry...be happy" is.
