The rest of the world still follow traditional values. China originally had homosexuality classified as a mental illness. [Same they did with Islam]. There are no gay rights and no legal protection from what gays in America call 'persecution'. You are free to live a a gay person, but there is no marriage, no adoption of kids etc.
