Of course it is the fault of the United States, but I think that's only common sense.

Paranoid tendencies. Again.
However, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean you're wrong.

If you'd asked this question 100 years ago you'd have had a totally different answer.

Would the answer have been "In 100 years it will all be the fault of the US"?

the world is a crap hole, for sure, but you can't place all the blame on the US.

Well I was'nt being serious when I said the world's problems are a result of the US. It was a little humor geared towards those who seem to think so. As near as I can tell those who think so seem to be liberal or left leaning and/or Islamofacist leaning of which I am neither.

Here is the million dollar question:

Why is it that we acknowledge the world has major problems, but very few people do anything to try to solve these problems...?

and I am not implying that I do my part either...

I guess the same reason you are capable of going through an entire day and at the end of the day complain about such things as the weather being bad or the fact that you got a traffic ticket etc. while all the while taking for granted the very fact that you had a day to spend on earth as well as all the blessings in your life that enabled you to experience a day on earth.

All I can say is that mankind is simply geared towards narcissisism and self interest which, by the way, is in large part what is wrong with the world. We simply expect things to go our way and therefore, take those things that do go our way for granted. However, cross our path for any reason and God help us all!! We will hear all about it.

As for coming up with answers to our problems, I don't think we are all interested in the best answers that benefit everyone, rather, we simply want things to go our way. As a result, the answers we come up with to the world's problems usually only benefit ourselves and unfortunatly usually only end up contributing to the overall problems in the world.

That is how I see it, how about you? Did I win a million dollars? 😀

the US became the bad person right after the WWII. paranoia caused by the communist threat(excessive paranoia, there was after all some threat) and meddling in foreign wars caused it to be viewed as the bully. no nazis rose so that the US could save the world. instead only news about the crappy wars they got involved, the beating of the blacks, the nixon scandal, the kennedy assasination, etc reached our ears. before the they were quite nice and saved our euros butt 2 times.(three if you count the marshall plan)

i haven't given up on amerika. i just wouldn't want to live there in the present or the near future 😀

i reckon that people who say stuff like that are mostly jealous and resentful types who would give their right arm for the opportunity to be admitted

The answer then would have been: Great Britain and her Empire. Let's face it, the world (or at least the Left) hates winners.
