For every lazy person trying to game the system and living off the work of others (i am talking about poor people, not most billionaires) there are 99 others working 80 hours a week or more barely making ends meet. People that would go bankrupt if anything unpredictable happens, like maybe car breaking down or child needing a trip to the dentist.
People that work 80 hours a week aren't losers who can't become millionaires, they are unfortunate people screwed over by an unjust system. We need nurses, teachers, garbage collectors (and we need them more than we need millionaires)
Now is the point where you tell me how a nurse who just got out of a grueling shift should just buy a duplex and become a real estate mogul.

Putting Trump into the White House wasn't America failing. It was a consequence of America failing its citizens for quite a while. People struggling to make ends meet elected the one who didn't tell them how grateful they should be for the wonderful job Obama did and how everything will stay the same. They voted for someone who promised them change.
And ofc there were some racists involved.
