@eladar saidEach post of yours changes the point being debated.
@wolfgang59
Actually watched the video. Do you know what an urgent care is? It is a very low tech doctor's office. Even with health insurance he would have been sent to the hospital.
Why is that?
Try debating a point like an adult instead of immersing
us all in the backwash from your random thoughts.
@wolfgang59
Well at least now you know he was not excluded from medical care because he did not have health insurance.
@eladar saidMhmmmm... very few guarantees in life, there is... but getting proper medical care is better for one’s chances than not getting it...
Does not guarantee outcomes.
For example, with the current corona crisis: astma doesn’t increase your chances of dying (it isn’t considered comorbidity)... if you have proper astmatic drugs which you take regularly.
If you don’t have those drugs and you end up in intensive care... there’s a far higher chance you’ll die.
@eladar saidIt certainly delayed medical care, didn't it? He went into cardiac arrest on the way to the emergency room and never recovered.

@no1marauder saidNo it did not, they would have sent him to the emergency room anyhow.

Do urgent cares have ventilators? Not the ones around here. Urgent cares are where a PA looks at you and tells you what a radiologist at the hospital tells him about your xray.
@eladar saidPresumably like the "Urgent Doctor" here in NZ? Somewhere to go out of hours when your GP is closed. Somewhere that gives some medical advice/treatment?

Should I take your word or that of the town's mayor?
@eladar saidSurely they would have had oxygen which is a few steps away from a ventilator.
