My observation is that there have been more violent incidents reported that have involved M2F trans people than there have been involving F2M trans people.
I think this is something to consider and not just to gloss over for idealistic, ideological reasons. Hoping the medical researchers in that domain have taken notice.
I am not at all saying that all M2F people will become violent and get reported in the news. Hmm, but of course now I'm wondering if those particular people might have been headed that way anyway, transition or not.
@Arkturos saidWhat I notice about these trans shootings…the media and dem politicians try to hide the trans part. Why?

@Mott-The-Hoople saidThese days it seems everyone puts their spin on something.

I imagine the media and the Dems are trying to be responsible in our 24/7, instant-reaction, instant crowd-mob world so as not to put a target on the whole demographic to which a shooter might belong.
Have the Republicans commented on this case? Would they say that maybe we shouldn't grant gun permits to teenagers undergoing trans hormone therapy?
I have also read that the shooter wanted to be more petite than he/she was, but of course we are not allowed to ask whether he/she had some mental problems going on -- and here I would not include the desire to align one's body with one's concept of self (although I understand that others do).
On a side-note, it's strange that in the so-called Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, more of the conservatives do not support personal sovereignty, whether it comes to carrying a baby to term, or retrofitting one's own organic chassis.
@Arkturos saidSuch as, if the race isn’t mentioned you can bet the shooter was black?

@Mott-The-Hoople saidOh, I would have thought assumed to be white.

Blue eyes = killer (among other things: invaders, slavers, rapists, for instance).
@Mott-The-Hoople saidIdiot.

Just what percentage of shootings are by trans individuals and what percentage is by far-right people with a chip on their shoulder?
I'm sure that even you can see that the trans shootings are a microscopic part of the whole.
@Arkturos saidI'm sure that, if you got your way, LGBTQ would become just G.

Am I right? You fail to support anybody except your own demographic.
@Arkturos saidThis is explained by the simple observation that those who are born with male bodies are more violent on average than those who are born with female bodies. This applies to cis as well as trans.

@Suzianne said"G" is just shorthand for the whole alphabet string.

Please feel free to propose an alternative.
Maybe "I" for "we are so inclusive" or "N" for "but not you"?
Which demographic have you assigned me to, in your divisive and compartmentalizing way?
You seem to be a simple-minded social vivisectionist who divides people up into arbitrary categories in order to assemble your own ideal "monster" from the parts in your mental Lego bin.
BTW, I do appreciate that you sometimes write longer posts under your own power instead of just snippy little reactive name-calling posts or copying and pasting the essays of others.
@AThousandYoung saidYeah, makes sense.

However, trying not to be divisive and thinking more in spectral terms, it seems to me that on average gay men might be less physically violent than hetero men (never mind Suzi's anecdotal reports, which always seem to include bars).
As for gay women (does anyone really like the term "Lesbian"?) versus hetero women, I'm not one to know whether one end of the spectrum is more physically violent than the other, or whether one is more aggressive in general than the other, or whether that might be context-dependent.
Well, it might be a complicated topic that is not easily reducible to a few conclusive phrases and general sureties.
@Arkturos saidEver since Stonewall (and before that as well), the LGBTQ story in America has included bars, like it or not.
Yeah, makes sense.

And don't you dare speak on the world of L. You obviously know nothing about it.
My charge is sustained. All you care about is the G side of the equation. I've never seen you support any other LGBTQ, except with castigation.

Which percentage of trans people are violent compared to the percentage of non-trans people are violent?
I’m pretty sure it will match up, eh.
Probably because if 1% of people are bastards, 1% of most groups will, statistically, be bastards.
Obviously there are exceptions, like incels, pedophiles and maga-cultists… bit they’re the 1% out of the whole group, meaning that the non-these groups have less bastards in them.
@Arkturos
It is not the hormones in my opinion. It is the inability to get a penis back. If it was merely hormones and nothing more going back to being a man would be possible after unrealistic expectations are dashed.
Having a penis removed is rather permanent. Do biological women have their vagina's removed?
