On yahoo news I see a lot of weblinks that have multiple links for you to click on to see the complete information. Here is an example.

In order to see all of the pics of queen liz before she was queen you have to click next. I find it unnecessary and annoying and suspect it is a way to manipulate trend lists by manipulating people into giving a website more hits.
Is my suspicion correct?
