It was entirely foreseeable and predictable that Iran would respond to Trump's threats, for example by holding the Strait of Hormuz hostage and tipping the world's oil markets into uncertainty and that this would have serious consequences not only for the U.S. economy, but the rest of world's economies as well. Trump's comment shows how shortsighted his attack on Iran is.

There was a way to limit Iran's nuclear weapons without deleterious economic consequences. It was simple, it was easy--all that was required was for Trump to do nothing. There was treaty which was working and verifiable, limiting Iran's nuclear weapons capability, which had no deleterious economic consequences for the west; T45 was an idiot to have torn it up. The world would not be in its current economic turmoil if T45 had honoured that treaty.

He is THE dumbest POTUS in US history, and there have been so dumb ones and the most corrupt by FAR, BILLIONS sucked right into his pocket. It is so bad now people are starting to say it is the new normal, a POTUS gets in, and now we EXPECT them to be corrupt.

But his felony convictions has to be on his mind, he KNOWS he is in legal trouble if he is not POTUS so it looks to me like he will TRY, succeed maybe not but we are in for a rough ride if he does like invoke insurrection BS and stop elections.
THAT I would not put past him.
