How good are the chances Trump will be put in a position like Nixon was when Nixon resigned?

Zero. Trump will never face jail time or any consequences.

I've said this many times before, Trump is the Teflon Don.

Honestly, we should just stop talking about this and move on. America spoke. Let him do what 70 million Americans elected him to do.

So we should expect him to do Watergate like activities and get away with it then.

He left boxes of classified documents in a bathroom shower. He's unquestionably more stupid.

Nothing the left does matters.

The case was dismissed by a judge Trump appointed.

First of all, Nixon did not have to step down, and I doubt 2/3's of the senate would vote 'guilty', but it is what it is.

In the unlikely event that a republican controlled house votes to impeach Trump, it will never pass the republican controlled senate

He's the president. get used to it.

Do you think he'll serve out his entire term? He'll be 80 before the midterms.

More to the point, he doesn't really want to do anything (he has no real ideology), he just wants adulation. Plus he's not going to jail now no matter what and he's been personally vindicated at least electorally.

Even if his health holds up (always iffy at that age and he doesn't exactly keep himself in shape), do you think it's possible he steps down at some point?

His ego is too big for him to step down "fight fight fight"

He could get ill or die, but nobody can predict that. But if that happens, of course the presidency is still republican
and a very good chance for JD Vance to get a jump at running in '28
