Fiona Hill Blames Trump for Putin’s Ukraine Invasion — Political Divisions Were ‘a Sign of Weakness’
On Sunday’s broadcast of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” former National Security Council Senior Director Fiona Hill insisted former President Donald Trump, despite being out of office for more than a year, played a role in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine.
Hill argued that Trump’s request for a “personal favor” set the wheels in motion for the invasion.

Glancing over the fact that you're too stupid to understand the difference between "played a role" in Putin's decision and "caused" that decision, yes, Putin gambled on the fact that the US is divided and the democrats and Biden won't have the courage to do anything about it. He thought the US now is Trump's US when, in fact, it was just his puppet and a few cronies that were pro-Putin and even they can't get to justify a callous invasion of a non-brown country. That, the assumption Ukraine will just lay down and fold, that Zelensky will just flee and he will install whatever puppet he pleases were all factors that made him reach his decision.
