The pesky problem with that is Trump does not have the authority to start tariffs which is the power of CONGRESS AND congress does not have the power to GIVE Trump the ability to start tariffs. He uses a 1976 emergency clause to claim he has that authority but the court of international trade just ruled against him, unanimous vote, TWO republican judges and one democrat on that commission.
I hope SCOTUS holds the three judges on the court of international trade because the tariff wars are a TERRIBLE way to conduct business, jobs WILL be lost, companies WILL go bankrupt and the US may slide into recession.
But all of that is just me screaming the sky is falling, right?
I know NOTHING, ESPECIALLY about that GENIUS Trump.

1) The President, as head of government, protects all our rights equally.
2) The Pretender's purpose is to announce fake tariffs to rattle the stock market, tell his buddies to "buy the dip" (he said that), and then cancel the tariffs a few days later so that the market bounces back.

For one thing, if we stave off a pandemic in say Africa, it means people coming into the US won't be transmitting say Ebola or Aids or TB or Bird flu or whatever is the disease of the day.
But THAT is WAY above your mental ability to comprehend.
AND the good will generated AROUND THE WORLD because of USAID.
THAT also is WAY above your ability to comprehend.
And you could care less the death toll DIRECTLY because of Musk is approaching TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND now and on its way to a MILLION dead from starvation and disease. For instant, there were people being treated for diseases such as Ebola or TB or a dozen other nasty diseases CUT OFF INSTANTLY in mid treatment OND HUNDRED PERCENT because Musk got USAID killed and all you can say it "RIDDLED WITH FRAUD' which is UTTER BS.
And I imagine you will lose ZERO sleep over the national shame of ending that good will program that had real benefits to US citizens.
