@AverageJoe1 saidIf you can't handle the melting pot or tossed salad of the USA, then maybe you might find Hungary (for instance) more to your liking.
P implies that she is WOKE. Go for it Phranny. Can you be woke and like to watch Sweet Sixteen? I just can't see it.
And if you are just some random rotator posters from the CRINK consortium, my sympathies to you and your families, but also please don't cause trouble for us, if you don't mind.

My net worth reached a maximum under the Great Joe Biden, "The Old Warhorse" whose steady hand and good sense kept us safe and secure and happy and prosperous through excellent policies.
Since then, Baby Pouting Trumpy-pants has caused nothing but chaos and lost me 6% of my net worth. π
You stupid fuuks are costing me MONEY! π
How's your 401k? π
Since you're such a big shot investor I'm sure you've experienced fluctuations before.

“We will begin a new era of soaring incomes,” Mr. Trump said at a rally in October. “Skyrocketing wealth. Millions and millions of new jobs and a booming middle class. We are going to boom like we’ve never boomed before.”
Promise made, people expect delivery! π

@moonbus saidAt least when W snuck off to his ranch for a few days, he put the Secret Service detail up for free.

At Mar-a-Lago, they pay premium prices for their rooms, and that gets paid straight to Donald.
And he pays himself to golf there.
We in the UK view Trump as a foghorn of ignorance, an arrogant, bullying, misogynistic and unmitigated disaster for the US, for Transaltlantic relations and for the world in general. He has no moral fibre, no humility, no compassion or altruism. He pretends to spout Christian values which are lapped up by the Mid West in their MAGA illusion. The only word he relates to is DOLLARS. Ukraine and Gaza are only of interest to him because of what he can get out of them plus his greed for Nobel Peace Prize.
We in the UK admired Obama and even sleepy Joe because of their dignity and quiet professionalism. We mourn their passing.
@moonbus saidI have little doubt that a lot of what Trump is doing is aimed at increasing his personal fortune. The emoluments clause of the Constitution was not enforced during his first term, and now there are absolutely no guardrails on the grifting, graft, insider trading, and corruption.

@Soothfast saidIt is so obvious why he has fired prosecutors, gutted the FBI and half the IRS: no one will be left to investigate his crimes when he leaves office.

@Soothfast saidI wonder if "Melania's kid" might have come up with a scheme whereby Trump could completely devalue fiat currencies in favor of whatever vaporwave crypto Barron got his family to invest in.

On the other hand, between the PRC's threats against Taiwan (and therefore against TSMC) and Trump's own tariffs, who can afford the processing power to generate more bitcoins? -- or maybe the idea is to stifle the generation or "discovery" of new bitcoins so that currently putatively existing ones become more valuable because of scarcity?
