A nice article from a man who endorsed Trump in the election ... what else would he say?
He isn't a political analyst, economist or foreign affairs expert. He's an English Professor.

Maybe he should write an article about Trump's use of English - he'd be qualified for that.

I really don't read the article as being particularly flattering to Trump. It says his bumblings haven't caused disaster or made his base stop supporting him. Both true, but it does acknowledge that his popularity ratings remain low if, so far, "firm".

Of course, it takes potshots at "liberal" media and commentators but really saying Trump hasn't managed to destroy the Republic isn't exactly a front page news item. In fact, his Presidency has been far less consequential than many feared mainly because he's utterly failed to accomplish any of his legislative goals except giving the standard Republican tax cuts to the rich (with some crumbs tossed to the rest).

It sounds like you could use some English lessons yourself. But what else is new.

Then "it" being MSN/CNN was irrelevant and it was pointless of you to bring it up in your post above.

Trump suckered the msm (his greatest enemy) into being his greatest strength. no other campaign or president has had the amount of free coverage Trump has had.
