The federalist papers says the feds should be there to support and coordinate amongst the states where there are crises.
Trump is doing things like competing with states for PPE and such and it has gone as far as the governor of Maryland, who speaks Korean as well as his Korean wife, ordering a half million C19 tests from Korea, now HIDING them from the feds for fear of them confiscating the whole lot for Trumps political NOT medical purposes.
He is KILLING the whole idea of federalism.
He even said it quite plainly, we are BACKUP.
We are not the sales clerks of the nation.
That is the OPPOSITE of what federalism is all about.
He has perverted the federal government and is now going AGAINST the states instead of helping them by such things as using the emergency act to cause businesses to make PPE and ventilators and such instead outbidding states for precious PPE equipment instead of being a national coordinator of such equipment, prioritizing to states needing them the most but indeed playing political games giving supplies to his republican sycophant governors and the HELL with democrat states.
This is perversion of the highest order and his base either approves of it or is ignorant of this perversion and corruption in front of our eyes.
