@Cliff-Mashburn saidYeah, like the part where he told the entire world, you pursue green, your country will DIE.
@sonhouse
He gave a kick-a.s..s speech what's your problem with it?
I guess you missed that part, unless of course you are a full bore Magat totally believing everything Trump and his cronies puke out daily.
And I also suppose you are in TOTAL agreement with your mentor Lord Trump that the government NEEDS to be shut down next week.
Who gives a rats ass as to the MILLIONS of lives totally screwed, it shows I DONALD TRUMP am in POWER.
@sonhouse saidI found this one out of hundred articles that green is a losing proposition.
Yeah, like the part where he told the entire world, you pursue green, your country will DIE.
.... ecologists warn that, despite appearances, going green may have downsides for arid ecosystems and for the people who depend on them. Desert plants and animals will often lose out, and the extra vegetation may soak up scarce water supplies. The negative impacts of hotter, drier climates have not gone away.Jul 16, 2024
So you are irresponsible to just say that global green is good. Donald has his own sources which caused him to say what he did, and he does have good points, Look them up.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidYou call that a kick arse speech?
@sonhouse
He gave a kick-a.s..s speech what's your problem with it?
Really?
It was completely demented.
A president whining about escalators and windmills, stating that his allies are going to hell (based on completely nothing), stating that global warming isn’t a thing (seriously… nobody even discusses this stuff with you lot anymore… as you suffer constant floods and fires… moronic to the max&hellip😉 and whatever else the orange moron was complaining about.
You call that kick arse?
Without the S. Because you don’t know the difference between a donkey and a human anus.
Jesus. Why am I still trying to explain reality to you people.
You are indiffurable rejects of humanity and intelligence.
God damn… parasites on a chess forum.
@MickeyD saidWhich means of course you totally agree the rising CO2 levels are a scam.

When in fact the rising CO2 levels is a kind of human IQ test.
It is more than clear we are losing IQ points daily.

We are getting dumber and dumber as the years go by, JUST WHAT TRUMP WANTS.
Trump HATES competence. Which is why he denuded the upper ranks of every government agency including the department of defense. Trump has Hegseth as we speak machoising the top military leaders, you have to be WARRIORS.
Just the thought of the village drunk telling hundreds of top generals what to do makes me want to PUKE.
@sonhouse saidI agree with none of that speculation, and may I point out that since there are many learned scientists, neither of whom are able to prove a durn thing on their opposite sides, that you are therefor not right either, or wrong. You speculate which is boring. And yoyu can hardly expect average non-scientists to know a thing about C2o

@MickeyD saidThat is where you are wrong. FIFTH graders learn about CO2, what it is , effects on plant growth, effects on our atmosphere.

This is NOT rocket science.
Well known facts anyone even with a HS education knows all about.

@sonhouse saidWe know the def of it. And you mention it a lot like it is a requisite. Then, so is the sun. We know about the Sun too. It affects global climates, as does everything in the below paragraph. To take your comment to logical conclusion, you expect everyone you write with to know the aspects of everything in this paragraph. You may even know it all, a PHD. I and cliff do not. You have us at a disadvantage.

AI Overview
Section 4: Factors that Influence Climate | NGS Magnified
Climate is affected by both climate control factors, like latitude, elevation, and topography, which are geographical or physical conditions, and climate elements, which are measurable variables like temperature, precipitation, and wind that describe climate. Other influences include ocean currents, proximity to water, prevailing winds, atmospheric pressure, and even human activities.
have you taken ocean currents into consideration
@MickeyD saidActually I HAVE taken ocean currents into account and one thing, the Gulf Stream and the North Atlantic current are all slowing down and that alone will cause really bad winters in Eastern US and western Europe, like UK might have the like the Thames and Severn might freeze over like it did a few hundred years ago as a result, so they say, of a near absence of sunspots for a couple of years made for cold weather around the globe but UK really suffered.

It could happen again if the ocean current stops. which gives heat to the east coast of the US and west coast of Europe.
@sonhouse saidA nice coherent post, thankyou.

It begs the question, how many scientists would agree with you, and how many would not? And why wouldn't they? You say it all as if it is cut and dry.? And why fill the Forum with questions that will never be answered to factual satisfactory conclusion.? REAMS of posts. ugh
Could dogs be taught to talk by the year 2800??
@MickeyD saidIt is NOT some kind of controversy, the ocean currents are LITERALLY slowing down, now some 30% less flow and it may stop altogether.
A nice coherent post, thankyou.

The question becomes how much slower will it take to cause severe weather in the eastern US and western Europe.
This is totally besides the issue of rising CO2 levels. Rising CO2 may make winters somewhat better if the current stops but that is speculation.
