So now there will be half the number of workers to handle those benefits, whereas before when we could depend on SS payments on time, how much delay will be in the system now?
And VA benefits paused for now but it will get to SCOTUS and his buddies there will no doubt side with Trump so ALL the court cases where actual human beings said NO to all the perverse throw at a dart board system of government job cuts, when it gets to SCOTUS, all bets are off on these reversals by lower court judges.
I have to pay my rent on the 5th and my sole income is SS, so if they say, sorry, we don't now have the folks to handle your benefits so your payment will be a little late, expect it now on the 20th of each month for now.

Using SS as a pawn shows clearly Trump could care less about the common man, ONLY cards about billionaires and maybe famous millionaires if they kiss his ass enough.
I am 83 and forced to get a job, because of my fears SS is not going to be stable.
I am hedging my bets.
I have worked high tech, VERY high tech all my life and now have to work at Home Depot but if SS turns out to be stable which I doubt, I may be able to quit in a couple of years.
BTW, now Trump is denying Musk will be shown China war preparations.
Even so, he should not be allowed anywhere NEAR the Pentagon, which BTW, I worked there for a year, and Musk with ZERO security clearance. A disgrace to the US.

If Gates is right then a UBI will be inevitable for all of those unemployed people. And who will pay for all those UBI payments? Guys like Bill Gates.
