Trump throws supporters under the bus

After first encouraging his supporters to storm the capital building on January 6th, The Donald has totally abandoned them, leaving hundreds of former rioters to face law enforcement authorities.

Over 700 people have been charged in the January 6th attack. Trump has not lifted a finger to help them with legal expenses, or to support them in any way.

Suckers! You people never learn, do you?

@AverageJoe1
Yeah, he didn't 'storm' because he is a COWARD.

He slunk away, saying, 'let's you and him fight'.

Lots of Black Lives Matter protesters are still jailed too, but I don't think anyone will blame their arrests on the movement.

Similarly for all the misguided ideas of the Capitol rioters, their clinging to Trump as 'the chosen one', molding golden idols of their silver spooned elitist, waiting on bated breath for the audio appearance of their 2-bit reality TV personality on Hannity's show, combing over conspiratorial back stories about his rise to power, for all that the Trumpers truly truly believe in him.

It's on them, not Trump. They drank the Kool Aid. Trump is right to ditch them.

Isn't it funny how the narrative of the capitol riot among conservatives shifted from: 1) it was Antifa false flag, to 2) probably actually it was the FBI who set us up, to 3) actually wasn't all that bad just disruption of the most powerful legislative body in the country, a few bodies and millions in property damage, to 4) yea it was us and we wanted to flip the outcome of the free/fair election and we're proud of it.

Funny?

What is funny is that none of you get the gist of the McHill post for this thread. I don’t even know what you’re writing about.
