Because even Republicans are showing distrust of Trump, he makes a speech. This speech had one audience: the deaf, the dumb, the blind, the MAGA base of the party, the Trumpublican Party. He decided to do the full court press of lies in a desperate bid to get them back.
Looks like it worked.

He blamed Biden for recent increases in the inflation rates and the jobless rates. He blamed Biden for weakening our country through nebulous, undescribed and unproven illegal corruption. He blamed Biden for basically everything bad. Then, he offered free money to people. Coming from where? Who knows, maybe Venezuela will pay for it. He wants to lower healthcare costs by 1 billion%, but hasn't done it and has not even described the concept of the plan required to do so. He ended 186 wars and counting, with the next 10 wars about to be ended next week (stay tuned). He closed by saying that the vile vermin Demonrats who destroyed our country are being deported and he has a right to deport citizens and our country will be great again if we just wait another 2 weeks.

The rest was pure GARBAGE, inflation was 3% when he started Trump V2 and it is 3% NOW, no change, jobs are down, his ILLEGAL tariffs have already caused small companies to go under and of course with the resultant loss of jobs.

I have no doubt when Trump is no longer POTUS and has some of those convictions coming back to bite his sorry ass and maybe he REALLY DOES go to jail you will scream WITCH HUNT, CORRUPT JUDGES, no matter WHAT evidence is shown that he is in fact the MOST CORRUPT POTUS in US history.
What seriously gives me pause is YOU a fking OFFICER in the USAF buy into his BS story of HUNDREDS of ABOVE TS docs stored in his FKING BATHROOM and basement were declassified by TELEPATHY.
How can you say that was a witch hunt? How can you live with yourself when your own Lord and Master STOLE HUNDREDS of TS and above docs where he actually READ at least ONE to an Aussie billionaire about how close a US sub can approach a Russian sub undetected and of COURSE that Aussie IDIOT told it to 40 of HIS friends.
Tell me honestly, what would you have said if it was say Obama pulling a stunt like that and don't even BOTHER bringing in Biden finding a couple in his garage which BTW he turned in as soon as he found them, not even CLOSE to the MASSIVE TS thefts of Trump.

No, it wasn't all lies. He opened his speech with "Good Evening, America" at 9:00 PM EST, so Trump had that part right.

My gas prices in NY have not come down much from 1 year ago and neither have my grocery bills. National Grid petitioned NYS for a large rate hike and my terrible governor Hochul approved it. I only have electric at my house, no gas, and my monthly bill has gone up by over $100
