Basically shifting their case from there was: “No quo pro.” (direct quote from mr. trump himself) to quid pro quo isn’t impeachable to the president can do anything he wants it’s in article two (there’s me thinking that was about guns or something) to whatever the hell that woman was looking up in her notes.

The basic message is very interesting, and Mitch McConnell has said so himself: “Not removing him from office. No matter what.”

Now, it’s obvious as I’ve stated before, that if they do remove him from office it will prove they’ve been following a retard for years (bad PR) and if they keep him in office it shows then to be power hungry monsters who’ll do anything to cling to office (bad PR from an historic perspective).

Politicians being politicians tend to opt for short-term gains rather than the long-term picture. So nothing new there.

However, what precedent is being set?

@shavixmir if Trump were ousted, which will not happen, we would be stuck with Pence who is just as bad, maybe worse. If Pence were ousted, we would have President Pelosi which would please me to no end. We can only hope that the electorate will come to its senses and vote Trump out of office in November. Clinton did win the popular vote by 3 million votes. If Trump becomes a lame duck, he and the GOP will do much damage during those last few months.

2016 Trump had a majority of the popular vote until California jumped in with both feet and suddenly he was a couple million behind.
Thank God for the Electoral College, it was designed specifically to keep a couple of the states with a huge population from overriding what the other states wanted.

Trump won in 16 ONLY because of the combined efforts of the Russian propaganda machine and the lying cheating gerrymandering and voter suppression of the rePUTINicans. That is the only way these criminals win and if they win in November it will be because of the same corrupt method they won with in 16.
