When someone demonstrates their loyalty to the organized crime syndicate they are rewarded for their service. She will be rewarded just like her father was for being loyal to the cause. Even if she cannot get elected she will be appointed to an important position sooner or later. That is how things really work. Take Biden for example. Racial jungle Joe had to put up with being veep under a black man. He was rewarded for it. At least Obama was clean. It is nice when black people are clean instead of dirty like they usually are.
