I think some form of UBI will become a necessity in the next five years, maybe sooner. It won't be a Democrat issue (in the USA), but a practical governance issue.
If the "Don't Tread on Me" 2nd-Amendment Capitalists haven't risen up against Trump's completely anti-Constitutional tyranny by now, then they can continue to just sit and grumble when UBI is implemented.
