What do UK people think of former colony nations, especially the USA?

What do former colony nations' people think of the UK?

I see the UK as a sort of combination of the "gangsta" and modern civilization which has matured into the modern world in a strong but mature fashion. Empire and Kings are really nothing more than the ultimate gangs and gangstas.

Nowadays I see them as a combination of Viking style barbarian (football hooligans), European civilized metrosexuals and the old school Victorian steampunk gansta transforming into the modern age thing I mentioned above.

I am drinking beer. You should do the same, unless you are an alcoholic.

I can't really say. All I know is now that the libs are in power I am in favor of England taxing us again instead. Is it still too late to apologize for the Boston Tea Party?

Brittania r00led the world and if they hadn't screwed up and kept their American colony part of their empire they still would.
God it would be cool and the world would be a better place.

As much as I loathe the facile, narrowminded brandashing of the "American" and "Unamerican" labels, I'll ask a questionmarkless question based on that threadbare, politically autistic dichotomy: one wonders if there could possibly be a more "unamerican" sentiment or philosophy than your statement above, Sam.

Benjamin Franklin 1758

"It would be a hard government that should tax its people one tenth of their income".

If all you can say is "I can't really say", don't post. All you know, apparently, does not suffice. It has been proven again and again here.

Metrosexual Steampunk Vikings?

Now there's a movie I'd pay to see.

What? You are really a sad excuse for an American. "My party didn't win so I want to be part of the U.K., even though I spent the last year telling everyone how bad socialized medicine and gay marriage is."

You should just sit in the corner with you W doll and cry a few tears for the end of his reign of terror.

Touchy, touchy. Sorry mate, but "W" was a liberal in sheeps clothing. I can't help it if you tax worshiping liberals defy the spirit from which the US was founded. I think what really ticks you off the most is that Uncle Ben was a CONSERVATIVE in this regard.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

Why 'autistic'? Is a questionmarkless question still a question?
