It is important to be exposed to other cultures. See how they handle the unsolvable problem that is police. How they manage to keep a lawless savage land like for example the UK from devolving even more into anarchy while abstaining from killing people.

White collar crime just doesn't require the use of armed police, especially when it is never prosecuted anyway.

They handle crime better. They actually protect and serve. Their police officers are trained to defuse situations, not resolve them with a gun. Their politicians protect the citizens, at least when it comes to guns.
UK is simply better than the US.
