if liberal democrats would get out of the way this country would flourish. People would gain their self respect back. It is proven that low employment causes crime.

NEWS FLASH: Liberal Democrats are already out of the way. As of the last election the GOP controls the Senate, House, and the White House. What's the matter? Didn't get the memo??
Hey Mott - If all those lazy Liberals do is lay around on their backs, smoking pot and sucking "free stuff" off you hard working, Christian pure "real" Americans, then why is unemployment at a 44 year low?? 😲😲😲

    Hardest working countries.

Mexicans work longer hours than Americans.

But Scandinavians and most of Europe work far less hours!

Maybe the answer is to work smarter .... not longer?

In 1974, most employed people actually had proper full-time salaried jobs. Nowadays, casual labour and zero hours contracts is the norm for many. Not sure what it means to say that we have full employment when these days most jobs offers no security.

I’m surprised about Mexico. How do they get all those hours when they have three hours for siesta every day?

No security and very low service industry wages. On top of that, wait staff will probably not be able to keep their tips. The restaurant owner can either pocket the tips or redistribute them. They will need to pay the wait staff minimum wage instead of $2.13/hour.

US unemployment went from 10% in Oct 2009 to 4.8% in Oct 2016 to 4.1% in Jan 2018.
i.e. - nearly 90% of the unemployment reduction occurred under the previous administration.
The momentum of the economic recovery under the Obama administration has carried over to the current administration.

This has allowed for current pattern of the buffoon in the WH today taking credit for the efforts of someone else.

Illegals hitting the border, opening up jobs for Americans. Trump is working on that 47% you speak of. Welfare to work , section 8 to work, give it time.
