any how,the book liberty and justice spells it out very well ."liberal" is a misnomer and the word statist and definition are much more accurate for the party on the left in America today

I have this same book ,its good reading. But,for many here, its like "throwing pearls to the swine".
So what is the key to getting people to see this stuff if we are not willing to talk about it? After all, we have block heads who support these statists so if no one bothers to sound the alarm what is the alternative? Also, do you think Washington has been infested by statists? Are there any there who would not fit the statist or neostatist definition?

I think of Ron Paul when I think of conservatives in Washington today. I keep remembering the presidential debates and how the Republicans treated him like some kind of crazed radical outsider. It was disgusting. I just wished the man had some charisma and better communicating abilites. I think it is what is needed if that kind of message is going to get out. As for people like Palin and company, I think anyone outside Washington looks like a conservative. Heck, most of the left posters on this site would look conservative if compared to the radical statists objectives of those in Washington today. That is one of the reasons I prefer governors to be elected over Senators as a rule.

I know what your saying about R.Paul. I like alot of what he stands for but he lacks the charisma and appeal to succeed in this media driven society. As far as Palin,I think her own party is more against her then the democrats.

Just like Ron Paul. Well I guess that tells us where the Republican party is at. Perhaps they should be renamed the Neo-Statist party?
