While I agree with your deconstruction of his sentence, normbenign is one of the less offensive writers here. He at least attempts to argue with what I say and not what he wants me to have said. Eladar on the other hand is willfully illiterate.

Dutchess...admit it or don't, but you're making a mountain out of a molehill here, this sergeant may have been wronged, but our country can't change it's system to suit one person.

Please recall the words of Star Trek's Mr. Spock: "If one were to envoke logic...logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few"

So, just because nepotism and discrimination are rife and perhaps even traditional, they should be accepted as okay?

Did you sail up the Mississippi on a biscuit or something?

you made a weak and meaningless thread about an attention seeking soldier, you saw nobody really cared to debate that, and now you pick on something even less meaningful?

that is what is important? even if you were correct?

i guess is a secondary sentence. you can place how many secondary sentences between "as a practicing attorney" and "you never did whatever" and all you would be guilty of is pompous speech.

nobody misunderstood him. nobody thought he was guessing because he is an attorney. and in a language with so many stupidities this is what you pick on. against an opponent who consistently argues weakly, you now worry on the structure of his weak arguments.

As a grammar nazi, i guess you don't have anything better to do.
