Which are the two most important issues facing the American people this year?
Flex Fuel in cars and alternative fossil fuels
War In Iraq
Iranian Nuke Program
Homosexual Marriage
Corrupt Lobbysts
Darfourian Genocide
Flag Burning
Abortion
Gun Control
Military Draft
Social Security
Which two did you pick? I chose Flex Fuel and Corrupt lobbysts. Congress picked Flag Burning and Homosexual Marriage. Important yes, but I don't think they're the biggest two. Most of my second perriod chose Iraq, Iran and Felx Fuel. What's the opinions out there?

I forgot immigration. That should be on the list at the top three. The reason why is the Republicans are smokescreening the people and trying to get the conservative base back, especially the uninformed ones. Their logic is to get stupid people who don't pay attention to the world to vote based on one thing. The Democrats are not much better, they have their own smokescreen issues too - Affrimitive Action, Health care, etc,. and what you see is a corrupt government. That's why corruption is one of my choices. Immigration would be as well. My take on flag burning is this. I am a fairly conservative person socially, and I think that it is highly disrespectful to burn the flag, but the first amendment gave us freedom of speech. That is a way of expressing yourself. And I used to be all for a homosexual marriage ban until I realized that the state should not get involved with the affairs of the church. Personally, homosexuality is disgusting to me, but I am not going to stop you from doing it. As long as you're not forcing someone to do it, I refuse to stop you. Oh, more Americans can name the 5 Simpsons than the 5 freedoms in the 1st Amendment.
And people wonder why America is fu*ked up.
