This doesn't restore my faith in the wisdom of nations either. The thing is, you can either choose to dwell on events such as this, which will only feed your dark moods, or you can do what I do, and that is cut down on the daily news, the ugly events of the past, find some quiet time each day to take pleasure in small things. A cup of tea, a few min. writing in a journal, some daily exercise, endgame study, some good music, reading something inspirational etc. Yes, nations and people sometimes do very bad things, but life is not always that gloomy-
