@sonhouse saidIn Toronto 3k is what ya pay/month to rent a 2 bedroom apartment.😢😲
@Cliff-Mashburn
OF COURSE you would say it is all Biden's fault ignoring the FACT JACK that the dow is now over 40,000 and over 200,000 new jobs in June. If you want to bitch about having to earn 1200 a month to live, look at those 200,000 who in May did not even have a job at all.
I am in the same boat financially as you but not because of Biden but back in '98 or thereab ...[text shortened]... would have dumped the money out, taken the cash and payed the 20% tax but I didn't so now here I am.

@no1marauder said😂 prices dropped .1 %
That's right:
"US consumer prices fell in June for the first time since the early months of the pandemic. Fresh data Thursday revealed that consumer prices dropped 0.1% from May. On an annual basis, inflation eased to 3% last month from 3.3% in May."

Pretty rosy economic news, ain't it?
@Mott-The-Hoople saidIn a capitalist system, a prolonged drop in prices would only occur in an economic depression so that's good news coupled with continued growth and more jobs.
😂 prices dropped .1 %
Probably didn't teach you that in grade school which seems to be as high a level of education as you achieved.
@Great-Big-Stees saidI was talking to a guy from the UK at a gas station and he commented how cheap our gas prices are (at that Mobil it was $3.73 for regular).

Our right wing economic morons don't realize there's a whole economically interconnected world out there and that virtually every industrialized country experienced a sharp spike in inflation in 2022-23 as COVID restrictions were ramped down. There was a lot of pent up consumer demand and supply chains had to be rebuilt (and Russia's war on Ukraine didn't help matters). There was little or nothing the Biden administration or any administration could have done to prevent this short of extreme austerity measures which would have probably caused a worldwide economic depression.

In December 2020, 142.5 million Americans were employed in nonfarm businesses. https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/empsit_02052021.pdf
Now, 158.6 million are. https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/PAYEMS
Do those 16 million people have empty pockets?

@sonhouse saidBlah blah blah all you want, but somehow you claim that things suck now because it's all Trumps's fault and Biden/Dems are blameless. It's like a mental illness with you people.

The economic situation in the US right now is actually pretty good.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidThis is not unlike my cute comment a while back, that instead of 24 children being run over in the last eight months, there have only been 16 run over. Things are looking good.
OMG one good month after 42 months of pain, thanks a pant-load for the rosy results.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidWhat happens in “the rest of the world” is beyond most country’s control but it can and often does, affects everyone. Trump and his MAGA agenda is nothing more than a way for him ( the narcissistic person he appears to be) to get him what he wants, not for “the people” but for Donald and his cronies.😲

@Cliff-Mashburn saidIt was no big deal according to the last President:
We had a thing called Covid going on, in case you forgot.
"The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA."
Donald Trump

AND:
"The Fake News Media and their partner, the Democrat Party, is doing everything within its semi-considerable power (it used to be greater!) to inflame the CoronaVirus situation, far beyond what the facts would warrant. Surgeon General, “The risk is low to the average American.”

@Cliff-Mashburn
In other words NOTHING Biden does or can or will do will NEVER be enough, if he doubles the average wage in the US 'BIG FUUUKING DEAL< TRUMP WOULD DO IT 3 times Biden, not just 2X' and so forth.
So tell that BS to the folks who now have jobs that didn't have one 2 months ago.
@Great-Big-Stees
Well OBVIOUSLY it is Biden's fault right?🙂 I mean, he controls Canada too, right?
@Cliff-Mashburn saidYou mean in 2020? 4 years after trump was elected and did nothing positive for the working man?
We had a thing called Covid going on, in case you forgot.
