In my opinion, the Tea Party should target them and fight them. Otherwise, they are just a partisan "yes" vote and the movement is dead.
Aaaah yes. All bipartisanship must be punished!

this is worthy of a flaming tomato award for "overstatement of the year".
Then do tell, what has our Nobel Peace Prize President been denied other than one concession for a two year break on taxes for the filthy stinking rich making $250,.000?

I will conceed, he wanted a total government takeover of health care but settled on Obamacare because he did not have the votes. Other than that, it seems he has gotten his way.

Actually this is more of a compliment than anything. I can't think of any president in modern times who has gotten his way and accomplished more than the current president. It seems as though the mountains move at his command.

Yes, the emasculated healthcare reform was one example, but there are many others. The defenders of the status quo in Congress have continually contributed to the preservation of the sluggish pace at which legislation gets passed, and still there are many reforms which are yet to see the light of the day, such as reform of the immigration system.

Obama had a hard time persuading republicans about the necessity of the stimulus package, and ultimately they remained obstinate as usual, for example.

and now republicans once again seem to be fulfilling their role as the truculent detractors of the administration, nitpicking and insisting on their trivial pursuits. but yes, Obama has had some success, but they were hardly walkovers.
