I'd like to be amused by the concept of a micro-aggression, but the fact that so many people actually do take it seriously is disturbing.

60 years ago people said the same about sexism and racism.

Easily said by someone (Sh76) who presumably never has experienced a micro-aggression.

He's Jewish. With them, if a person starts microaggressing, they get terrified very quickly. Defensive, angry and nervous. They understand how it is.

All it takes is for someone to start muttering about Christ-killers or kikes and the Jewish pucker factor goes through the roof. It's kind of funny.

I'm not willing to recognize the legitimacy of the concept of a micro-aggression, so I won't deny that, but I've experiences plenty of macro-aggressions, as probably have most people. Thankfully, I'm not part of the crybaby generation and so I got over them and moved on.

How could you presume to know what someone else experienced?

There seem to be a host of new excuses for almost every misbehavior.
