Venezuela "has decided to break off diplomatic relations with the state of Israel given the inhumane persecution of the Palestinian people," the foreign ministry said in a statement.
mr.morales told Bolivia's diplomatic corps the Israeli attacks "seriously threatened world peace.''
Is there an ideological factor on this? bolivia is a vassal state, it does whatever venezuela does, I don't think mr.morales knows what he's doing.
"seriously threatened world peace.''
So mr. morales thinks that Israel shouln't defend itself from terrorists just to please the so called ''world peace''?
Is there an intelligent reason for this break of diplomatic relations?

1) I hate Bush
2) Bush supports Israel
ergo
3) I hate Israel

Some countries actually disapprove of military actions that kill over a thousand people including many civilians even children. Some countries express that disapproval by diplomatic means like severing formal diplomatic relations.
Crazy I know, but there you have it.

If you read the history of the state of Isreal you will know who are the terrorists, and who are the victims, although you , and many like you, are very brain washed to see the very clear truth!!

That's pretty good going.

defend themselves?
they want to destroy the israeli state, this is not about self-defense.
Originally posted by ahosyneyIsrael does not "occupy" Gaza. They withdrew from Gaza 3 years ago. Yes, Israel does not allow the free movement of goods into and out of the territory because it is trying to prevent weapons smuggling (albeit not very successfully, unfortunately). Hamas does not need to "defend itself." All they have to do is stop attacking Israel and they'll be perfectly safe. You think Israel gives a damn who has civil control of Gaza, Ramallah, Jerico, etc., be it Fatah of Hamas? Of course not. The ONLY thing Israel wants is not to be the subject of attacks, be them rocket attacks or suicide bombings. Whether you think they've gone about it correctly is a different issue; but that is and always has been the fundamental reason for the conflict and thinking anything otherwise is ignorant or ludicrous.

Does Israel claim to have a religious need to kill Hamas or Fatah or the Arabs or Palestinians? No.
Does Hamas call for Israel's destruction in its charter? Yes.
I don't understand how anyone could even debate the underlying cause of the conflict. It's clear as day.
