And you'll still think that GW was a great President and Obama's an "idiot" and Palin was a very qualified pick to be a heartbeat away from the President.
The Dems have been trying to goad McCain to pick either Joe Lieberman or Tom Ridge.
Paul Begala (a Clinton operative) was on a show (I think on CNN) this week and said he doesn't think McCain has "the guts" to pick a pro-choice candidate like Lieberman or Ridge. Several other Democrats have said the same thing.
The mainstream media was all excited wh ...[text shortened]... 0,000 people died.

What an idiot.
And the rest of us will have a good laugh.

brought up too fast, they misspelled the site! it should clearly be VP-milf.com maybe it was taken. dont check
Did you see the video of McCain checking her out while she's giving her VP nomination acceptance? That's the charge, anyway. Have to admit, it certainly LOOKS like he's checking out her backside..
I like this excerpt from the vpilf.com site...
"Four years ago, Gov. Sarah Palin went to the Republican National Convention [2004] as a wide-eyed delegate awed by the fast-paced environs in New York City. Next month, she will address convention delegates at the four-day event in St. Paul, Minn., the same night as keynote speaker Rudy Giuliani.
"I hadn't even envisioned being governor back then," Palin said. "And I hadn't envisioned being a speaker until about a month ago."
Yeah, right. She could be president.
What's with McCain and his need to be surrounded by beauty pagent girls? His first wife, Cindy "Miss Buffalo Chip", and now poor Sarah Palin....

Sounds a bit like the situation in reverse when GW was first elected.
I have no worries. If Obama wins, the House will fall back into Repulican control. Such is the natural cycle. You'd have to be a real idiot not to see that.
Originally posted by EladarThere's no such "natural cycle". If Obama has a successful first term, it's quite possible it could usher in another political era similar to that after FDR got elected. The people have seen what 8 years of right wing mismanagement can do to the country in the 21st Century and they don't seem to like it much. But the Republicans just can't admit that.

Have you heard and seen Palin debating ?
I'd love to here her "expound" on Russian affairs or how to win in Iraq, experience she undoubtedly earned in her experience as a 0.41 term Alaskan governor...
.. or her experience as mayor of Wasilia, AK a town of 6000 people.
.. or her "wide-ayed awe" as a delegate in the 2004 Republican convention (her words)
.. or her Bachelors in Journalism (with a poly sci minor)
.. or her experiences of her reign as runner-up of Miss Alaska pushing for "World Peace".

The only way that would happen would be if the US population really wants to become a Socialist state.
I suppose you aren't smart enough to realize that it is a very common cycle for the US to elect Congressmen from the party that is in opposition to the President.
Clinton handed Bush a Republican House and Senate. Bush hands whoever wins the election a Democrat House and Senate.
But you can continue to hope for some great leftist revolution, but it isn't going to happen for at least another 20 years.

They wanted Hillary because she was one of the most qualified candidates period and she was a woman. Many felt she was being "passed over" for the job by a "less qualified" man.
Picking a woman for the VP spot was a smart move, Obama's now in trouble.
Just picking any old, er young, woman doesn't do the trick. Hillary voters will not look kindly to Sarah Palin.
Originally posted by whodeyThe bottom line for McCain is that the dude's half-dead already. The more we have to look at him, the less likely we are to vote for him. He's picked someone that will draw the gave away.
Most importantly, however, she's kind of cute. If nothing else she will be some eye candy for the old man.
