USA Today claimed there is no evidence Trump made any formal request about deploying 10,000 National Guard troops before the rally. Trump made a formal request about deploying National Guard troops. I have no idea what the number is so I suspect they altered the number of National Guard troops so they could say it was not true. A common method of disinformation.

Hey idiot, I worked at the Pentagon, I worked in cleanrooms around the world and around the US for DECADES and part of my duties sometimes included taking care of emergency lights and it is just as they said, if power goes out, the exit signs light up.
I assume you must have an alternate truth to that simple tale. Why do YOU think otherwise? I have had to replace batteries in them and BTW, they used to be incandescent bulbs with big batteries but the newest gen have LED's and little 9 volt batteries that last a long time before they poop out.
I have been in situations where power was lost and the exit signs came on just fine so we could get out or whatever.

Notice Neither of them is blaming Trump. Trump can only authorize deployment of NG troops. It was up to Pelosi to accept them before they could be deployed after the POTUS authorized them. Trump authorized deployment. That means either Pelosi refused them before they needed them or she didn't call for them when they were needed. Which is it?
