The economic bubble was going to pop sooner or later. This gives them the excuse to pop it now instead of later when it would be worse.
C19 is the perfect excuse to take away people's rights before the tough times set in. Without C19 they would have to admit it is a big bubble that was unsustainable and they created it, then reinflated it after 2008 instead of letting the economic imbalances fall back into the right place.

Have you seen the movie Backdraft?
The arsonist turns out to be a firefighter who was disgruntled at the changes occurring in the service he had been a member of all his life. He started fires to kill people he felt were responsible but set the incendiary process such that after the effective fatal explosion the lack of oxygen extinguished the fire. Explosive, effective but self controlled.

Something bad will happen to the US too. We'll see where it will leave Europe as a whole - we're in this together now.

So the Brexit uncertainty/negotiations could be postponed again.
I'm not into conspiracy theory but I can read statistics and calculate, especially when cooperated with witness reports from people I know. I might have seen Backdraft as a kid but I don't remember it. If this is a play for global power by China (which I 100% don't believe) it got out of control. The Chinese economy is getting creamed too.
