Come on....Ivins was either innocent or had help. Why did the investigation end?
It sure seems like Mueller was trying to cover up for who the real anthrax mailer was. Isn't it interesting that someone mailed anthrax from Europe while Hatfield was in Europe? Hatfield was exonerated, so it appears someone was trying to frame Hatfield for the crime.
Perhaps they needed someone else to frame for it. Mueller sure seems like a dirty rat to me.
