Was Maduro's capture an inside job?

Debates

When I first heard Maduro had been captured I wondered how Trump pulled that off so easily. Now that it looks like it was an inside job it looks we have the answer. Air defense systems did not work. Someone must have shut them down to let the US in without loss of life.

Nobody cares.
Maduro is in jail where he belongs.
Millions of Venezuelans are rejoicing.
The Venezuela economy is about to take off.
Venezuelans scattered all over South America, North America and the Caribbean will return home, finally.
I live next door to them so Im happy. Our oil industry will also start to boom.
Thanks to Trump. No thanks to all the presidents who were in the USA and watch this nonsense unfold since 1999.

You are full of crap. The oil corps are not interested in going back to Venezuela. The price of oil is low and there is risk because of the uncertainty of investing in a country that was recently overthrown and occupied. The oil is heavy crude which is more expensive to refine and extract. Trump is considering free loans to incentivize them. It is not at all a rosy situation like you think.

Changing regimes will not fix the problem of oil dependence. The constitution was amended to make health care a human right. Venezuela has no other major income than oil. You can fault leaders for letting that happen, but it has happened and it will not change over night.

The oil dependence in Venezuela is systematic. They used to have farms to produce their own food, but working in the oil fields was a better living so farmers stopped farming to work for the oil industry. Now they have to import food and are more dependent on oil revenues to trade oil for food. They also used to trade oil for doctor services from Cuba for better healthcare.

You think capitalism is going to come in and save the day. It will not work that way. It does not matter who tries to end the severe oil dependence. It will take a long time. There is no easy fix to severe oil dependence. If you do you are fooling yourself. Trump will be long dead before that happens.

Prior to Chavez and his stupid socialism experiment Venezuela was the richest South American country, so shut up and give it a few years.

Yeah, the stone age was prior to now. It took a lot longer than few years for Venezuela to become so oil dependent. It will take a lot longer than a few years to reverse it. Venezuela is not Norway.

What do you think is going to happen? Do you expect the constitution making healthcare a human right to be repealed? Tell Israelis to give up their universal healthcare. Tell them to give up their socialist experiment.

Nope. That is just AI generated deep fake videos. You are a chump as always.
The socialists are about to purge their country of Americans. It is about to get ugly.

BTW, if you really live so close to Venezuela go there and do a poll yourself to know how they really feel about it.

@Rajk999

The inside job worked so well because of a traitor in government the deep state is paranoid someone in our government is going to do the same with Trump.

Is Trump regretting throwing MTG under the bus?
He must be scared he will get a taste of his own medicine.

What about his wife?
Is she an accomplice just because they are married? Because it looks like she is not guilty of anything but being Maduro's wife.

Where is the evidence she was involved with drugs?

I said this the day of the attack and everyone (including you) thought I was an idiot. I said, they'll never go back in there throwing good money after bad. They'd have to invest billions to get back millions in profit. Exxon has already told Trump to go pound sand.

It is about selling the oil in only US dollars. And making sure China does not get a foothold in Venezuela the way the US did in Taiwan. Imagine what a headache Taiwan is for China knowing the US has that proxy so close.
