Hah. She's even named after the tribe the Anglos are named after.
What did she mean by this, and do you agree?
Our Founding Fathers, they put that Second Amendment in there for a good reason, and that was for the people to protect themselves against a tyrannical government,” Angle told conservative talk show host Lars Larson in January. “In fact, Thomas Jefferson said it’s good for a country to have a revolution every 20 years. I hope that’s not where we’re going, but you know, if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies.”

EDIT - From the above:
“The nation is arming,” she told the newspaper. “What are they arming for if it isn’t that they are so distrustful of their government? They’re afraid they’ll have to fight for their liberty in more Second Amendment kinds of ways. That’s why I look at this as almost an imperative. If we don’t win at the ballot box, what will be the next step?”

No wonder she lost an election that almost could not be lost.

uOriginally posted by PsychoPawnWhat did she do that was thought impossible? She pandered to the Tea Party and rode the wave that dozen of others rode. She gets as much credit as Christine O'Donnell. In other words, she gets no credit at all. Going into this last election cycle Harry Reid was the most hated man in politics. A monkey with a flag pin could have beaten him. Sharon Angle couldn't.
Give her credit - she did what many thought was impossible!! What a great accomplishement!!
Edit: On second thought she did do the impossible. She lost to Reid. So, I guess you were correct. (sorry, didn't read sh's comment).

The world will have to miss the brilliance of my post.

Reid actually pounced on that during the republican primaries and may have helped Angle get the republican win. That could have been the best move he made to get himself re-elected.
Originally posted by PsychoPawnSharron Angle didn't make the "chicken's for healthcare" comment. That was Sue Lowden. Angle made a dozen other missteps though.

Sue Lowden WAS ahead of Angle in the polls until she did make the comment. Reid helped emphasize that comment and that helped Angle win the primary and hence helped Reid win re-election.
