Hah. She's even named after the tribe the Anglos are named after.
What did she mean by this, and do you agree?
Our Founding Fathers, they put that Second Amendment in there for a good reason, and that was for the people to protect themselves against a tyrannical government,” Angle told conservative talk show host Lars Larson in January. “In fact, Thomas Jefferson said it’s good for a country to have a revolution every 20 years. I hope that’s not where we’re going, but you know, if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies.”

Give her credit - she did what many thought was impossible!! What a great accomplishement!!
Edit: On second thought she did do the impossible. She lost to Reid. So, I guess you were correct. (sorry, didn't read sh's comment).

Reid actually pounced on that during the republican primaries and may have helped Angle get the republican win. That could have been the best move he made to get himself re-elected.

The thing is, most people don't give Reid enough credit - the frontrunner for the republicans was polling very well against Reid and then she fumbled and made a comment about her grandparents bartering chickens for healthcare.
Reid actually pounced on that during the republican primaries and may have helped Angle get the republican win. That could have been the best move he made to get himself re-elected.

Sharron Angle didn't make the "chicken's for healthcare" comment. That was Sue Lowden. Angle made a dozen other missteps though.
Sue Lowden WAS ahead of Angle in the polls until she did make the comment. Reid helped emphasize that comment and that helped Angle win the primary and hence helped Reid win re-election.
