Trump should have been arrested on January 7th, 2021, and charged with insurrection. Several hundred people were subsequently successfully prosecuted and jailed on charges of sedition. Several of their defence attorneys actually argued in court, as their client's defence, that Trump was responsible, that their clients were 'only following orders.' "Stand back and stand by."
The DoJ had four years to bring charges against Trump, and failed miserably.
