I am well away from these events, thank goodness - Tasmania to be precise.
I have seen a couple of videos but I still cannot confirm the guy(s) identified themselves as cops; if I was in a situation where a guy or two wearing combat wear and no identification - repeat - no identification, approached me with guns and balaclavas, I would floor it to get the hell out of there.
However; I do not know the FULL facts; just commenting on what I would do based on what I have seen.
If another member has more information I am happy to (politely) discuss.
