😆
You people are pitiful. Thousand used oil today. He is a hypocrite. He also has disdain for the wonderful Gates, upon whose genius computer innovations he used to stamp his loser emoji on this post.

Bill Gates does not have a job. He quit his last job fifteen years ago.
He also cheats on his wife.

@earl-of-trumps saidand getting tax cuts in return and influencing policy.
Bill Gates is a good example. Giving $billions away to good causes.

@athousandyoung saidNo, that is not what it means.
Does this mean you're withdrawing my membership invitation to your club?
@shavixmir saidYou do realize that none of you have responded to the fact that without rich people, there would be no contributions (by them) to the charities and 501c3s?
There’s an old book: The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists.
Perhaps you should read it.
This thread is about the billions of dollars that are freely given by rich people. They give a lot money away, ......is it that you,, like Kev and Sue and everyone, think they should give it to you?
Can you not at least acknowledge and give thanks to these people? C'mon, what is the deal? What do you think should be done to rectify the schism that seems to exist between you and them??? Y'all complain about them a lot, but offer no solutions.
Your solution appears to be to tell AvJoe to read a book? What in that book could change the simple fact that rich people give money away, and from a business perspective, they invest the money, creating widgets and jobs. Why are y'all so angry at successful people?

Ca ...[text shortened]... ve, they invest the money, creating widgets and jobs. Why are y'all so angry at successful people?
Do you realize that without rich people there would be no need for charities? All that wealth wouldn't magically disappear. What am I saying, you probably think that's exactly what would happen. That somehow all the automation, all the progress we did over the last centuries would poof out of existence and there would still be poor people. Just poor and poorer, not knowing how to make cars or medicine or put porn on the internet.
Get it through your skull, poor people exist only because billionaires are greedy and all the value generated is hoarded among the 0.1%.
I don't give a flying fuk that billionaires donate to charities (of their choosing), getting huge tax cuts and at times effectively laundering money like with the art scams. Giving to charity is not a justification for the existence of billionaires
@averagejoe1 saidWhat about the trillions of dollars collected in taxes?
You do realize that none of you have responded to the fact that without rich people, there would be no contributions (by them) to the charities and 501c3s?
