In Texas, you can kill people under all three circumstances. That's why they have a low crime rate in Texas.
My point was badly made. I was thinking that if your attitude is that you can kill someone in your yard and that they are trash, perhaps, from the other perspective he may feel you are trash and have no qualms about killing you either.
Perhaps if, as a culture, we put less emphasis on killing things and more emphasis on respect, we'd all come out on top.

Originally posted by WheelyYou have a point. If you own a gun and feel that you can't use it then I wouldn't take the chance of the burglar taking it away and using it on me. I would just sit there meekly while he rapes my wife or one of my daughters. Since I don't have that problem the dead home owner scenario doesn't apply to me. I guarantee it would be the dead burglar scenario.
Do you prefer dead home owners too?

when they break into your home talking about guns, and one of them sits down like he is holding one in his pocket. when your getting smacked repeatedly in the head, knowing it ain't gonna stop until your either in hospital or dead. it's allright to change their game and do it to them. i'm happy to say i managed to trick them and escape.
the other situation ...[text shortened]... ew i would kill if needed. i found it was more scary facing killing others than being killed.
