Another general election is approaching, and with it lots of posturing, misrepresentation of facts, spin, lying, backstabbing, and all the other "little treasures" that go with it. So- aside from wishing you could toss all these special people into a large pack of hungry hyenas and drive off in your Hummer while happily listening to Tibetan singing bowls on your speakers, what do you like to do when you're tired of politics. I'll start:

Playing 60 min games on ICC Chess (daunting but fascinating) rediscovering my interest in endgame and tactics study, Yoga, restoring an old hardwood desk.

Anyone else care to share??

I'm tired of politics too and I fully support any efforts such as yours to pursue something that is more likely to bring you joy. For whatever, it is worth chess seems like an excellent choice to me.

One day i thought, why watch the news, it is all the same everyday, and more, it is all opinions. So, just not watching TV anymore seems to have made my days longer, and more productive. I will break the rule when Ozark 3 is premiered!

I'm thinking of going on a transit system (maybe a bus) and licking the poles.
I figure if I'm going to get coronavirus, better to do it now while I can get a hospital bed.

I'm an occasional and pretty rubbish orienteer. The odd occasion in my youth when it allowed me to beat more natural athletes through cunning running got me hooked. The result is I now go and get exhausted, cold, wet, muddy and lost from time to time although I am working on a different route to a similar feeling. I have taken up playing chess badly.

Spending a solid hour practicing "Moonlight Sonata".

"Because you can always trust InfoWars to tell the truth."

Remember what it said for years about Sandy Hook?

@Suzianne
Hey, would love to hear you playing that. Why don't you open a SC account and send it in?
I have been sick for a month now and have not had the motivation to even touch my guitars or recording equipment, but I did talk to a dude in Serbia on my ham radio which was fun.
