Most people have caught on to his lying so he is unpopular these days. Public opinion has turned against him so much he is laying low these days, so it isn't surprising we don't hear from him as much lately.
The problem is that is that he is the spokesman for the NIH and he is rarely doing any speaking anymore. In other words, he is not doing his job anymore. Most people hate him so much he will not even speak much for obvious reasons, but speaking is his job!
If Fauci is not going to do his job anymore because he is so hated why doesn't he resign? The fact he still has his job is an indication of corruption. Put someone in his place that will actually be a spokesman for the NIH. The American taxpayers are sick of paying people to not do their jobs.
@wildgrass saidI didn't say he didn't speak at all, just that it is more rare, Heck, Francis Collins was doing most of the speaking for a while and he is not even the NIH spokesman.
@Metal-Brain
CNN this morning..
Most people want him to resign.

Fauci is corrupt. That is why he still has his job. No other reason.
@shavixmir saidHe has had that job for decades. He is so old he should have retired years ago, but he has money to make so he keeps his corrupt job and rakes in the money.
Is he publically appointed then?
Or is he appointed by proffesionals who know what he does?
If he retired tomorrow it would be a late retirement.
@metal-brain saidSo, not publically appointed then?

He's not on Twitter all day.
So he's doing his job. He's probably staying on top of any developments within possible new variants of the virus.
Which could be more dangerous than the current delta variant.
Which, btw, doesn't include trying to convince the numbskulls to get vaccinated.
Also, he's non-partisan.
He didn't get Trump booted out of the White House.

@mghrn55 saidhe popped up yesterday to change the definition of “fully vaccinated” to remove “booster shots”.

Why isn't he doing as much speaking?
@metal-brain saidIt was curious, because I read your "Where is Fauci?" OP while watching him speak on CNN (I don't normally watch CNN but was in an airport.) He seems to be making national news appearances to discuss policy when needed.

Fauci is corrupt. That is why he still has his job. No other reason.
What else would you like him to speak on? Is there a specific need, or are you trying to scratch a more general "I need more Fauci" itch?
@metal-brain saidWhat would you like him to say ??
He is the NIH spokesman.
Why isn't he doing as much speaking?
That Florida and Texas are run by a bunch of idiots ??
@mott-the-hoople saidI haven't been following......I'm on vacation in the UK.

Double vaccinated and booking a booster when I come back.
Has de Santis been in the news lately ?
I am curious how many extra COVID deaths in Florida can be attributed to his vaccination anti-mandate crusade...... in the name of freedom.
@wildgrass saidOnly CNN?

Why was Francis Collins doing the speaking for a while there instead of Fauci? I thought it was the spokesman that was supposed to do the speaking, not his boss. Collins is not the spokesman.
It is because the corrupt spokesman has become too unpopular. Most people want him to resign. It makes no sense to have an unpopular person like Fauci to do much speaking, so the spokesman does less speaking even though speaking is his freaking job.
So what is Fauci doing to earn his money? If he is doing his job what is he doing to earn it? What does he do other than being the spokesman which he rarely does anymore? Can't have an unpopular guy being the spokesman. I understand that, but why does he still have his job? Does he know where the bodies are buried so no-one dares mess with him?
