Here are some research studies and news articles from a variety of sources pointing to one fact: The US economy does better under Democratic leadership.
I'm sure we can come up with some reasons why this difference exists, but you can't 'fake news' the numbers. 1.9% higher GDP growth under Democratic presidents. One study removes the effect of the two recent recessions under Bush and Trump administrations, and there's still a 1% point gap. Republicans tend to leave office with massive debt and recessions, and Democrats tend to leave the economy in a better place than when they took office. Not sure why, maybe you all have some answers.

Democrats are corporate puppets too but not to the same degree and not all of them. They comprise of people from Joe Manchin all the way to Bernie Sanders while republicans are 90% made up of ghouls like matt gaetz and joe cotton and whoever else. The republican party is made from the worst US politics has to offer to cater to the worst americans
Tl;Dr:. The GOP is a unified block of awfulness aimed at a very specific base. Democrats are all the rest which is why it's difficult for them to please everyone
